She was born February 13, 1944. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home. Visitation will also be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Co-Cathedral cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Vernon H. Rodrigue; sons, Dean P. Rodrigue and wife, Beverly, Thomas P. Rodrigue, and Todd F. Rodrigue and wife, Sandra; sisters, Margaret Naquin Blanchard, Catherine Babin Barberito, Mary Harrington, Eloise LeBouef and husband, Wayne, Janet Kimbrell and husband, Thomas, Ellen Vicknair and husband, Rudy; brothers, James L. Cherry Sr. and wife, Ezel, Charles A. Cherry and wife, Mary; grandchildren, Grant Rodrigue, Tyler Rodrigue, Lauren Rodrigue, Kristen Rodrigue, and Jacob Rodrigue; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Cherry and Josephine Terracina Cherry; brother, Frank J. Cherry; sister, Evelyn LeCompte; sister-in-law, Joyce Riley Cherry; brothers-in-law, Lindon Naquin Sr., Nolan Blanchard, Paul Leo Babin Sr. and Thomas E. Barberito Sr. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Thibodaux Regional Medical Center and Family Doctor Clinic. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any charity.
