Alfred Seals Sr., 71, a native Centreville, Miss., and a resident of Johnson 
Ridge, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Morning Star 
Baptist Church in Johnson Ridge. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday 
at the church, 

with burial in Blue Lily Cemetery in Johnson Ridge.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Seals; sons, Alfred Seals Jr., Troy Seals, 
Allen Harris and Justin Short; and daughters, Valarie Moore, Sandra Maze and 
Crystal Cannon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Mary Seals; and daughter, 
Angela P. Seals.

He was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
