Jeffery Smith Sr., 48, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Sunday, Jan. 
27, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Third Zion Baptist 
Church in Raceland. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, 

with burial in Young Men's Benevolent Cemetery in Lafourche Crossing.

He is survived by his wife, Renoil Jones Smith; his parents, Essie Smith Martin 
and Lawrence Joe Jackson; three sons, Jeffery Smith Jr., Joshua Smith, and 
Theophus Smith; a daughter, Jelesia Wyatt; two brothers, Kevin (Muriel) Jackson 
and Frances (Yvonne) Jackson; seven sisters, Ann (Wayne) Cooks, Debra Hills, 
Lynette Smith, Paula (Oliver) Smith, Shirley Jackson, Celeste Jackson and 
Rachel (Vernell) William; and one grandchild.

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
