Irma B. Stevens, 88, a native of Clinton, Ill., and a resident of Thibodaux, 
passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Christ the Redeemer 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the 
church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley Smith; godchildren, Trudy Folse and 
Donna Ponson; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emile Stevens Jr.; parents, Frank 
Bailey and Anna Pochura Bailey; son, Daniel Ocsherner.

She was a long time employee at Nicholls State University. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Thibodaux Healthcare and Journey 
Hospice for her care.

Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
