Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Morning Star Baptist Church cemetery in Raceland. She is survived by sons, Alfred Sylvester III and Larry Sylvester; daughters, Gail Sylvester and Ella Sylvester; sisters, Louise Hankton, Susan Charles and Alma Darby; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Sylvester Sr.; parents, Willie and Susan Jackson; brothers, Charlie Jackson, Willie Jackson and Joe Jackson; and sisters, Lizzie Charles, Rose Sam, Ida Thomas, Josephine Price and Cecile Dulia. She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland. Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements. ======================
