Hilda Breaux Tardo, 98, a native of Raceland and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013. She was born Feb. 20, 1914.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Thibodaux Funeral 
Home. Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home, with 

burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Michael A. Tardo; daughters, Virginia T. Grammage 
and husband, William, and Theresa T. Andras and husband, Sidney; brother, 
Arthur Breaux Jr.; sister, Lucille B. Foret; seven grandchildren; 16 great-
grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Tardo Jr.; parents, Arthur 
Etienne Breaux and Elvire Bourgeois Breaux; son, Louis J. Tardo; brothers, 
Emile Breaux, Clay Breaux and Grant Breaux; sisters, Enola B. Grabert, 
Josephine B. Breaux and Odette B. Folse; and grandchildren, Mark Tardo and Obie 
Tardo.

She was a lifetime auxiliary member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
The family would like to thank Dr. Chester Boudreaux, Dr. Greg Chiasson and the 
staff of St. Joseph Hospice.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
