Calvin "Cal" Tillman Sr., 60, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of 
Houma, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at New St. Matthews 
Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Cresent Farm Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Constance Brown Tillman of Houma; one son, Calvin 
Tillman Jr. of Houma; one daughter, Irene Tillman of Houma; four brothers, 
Herbert (JoAnn), Clarence (Linda), Alvin (Alicia) and Robert (Barbara) Tillman, 
all of Houma; three sisters, Elizabeth (Milton) Wolfe, Beverly (Lionel) 
Shephard and Marshal Townsend, all of Houma; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Sr. and Irene Sims Tillman; 
and his grandparents, Joseph "Joe" Tillman and Bertha Robertson, and Thomas and 
Lula Jones Sims.

He was a deacon at New St. Matthews Baptist Church.

Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
