Elsie D. Traigle, 90, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, died Wednesday, Jan. 
2, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Louis Catholic 
Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, 
with 

burial in St. Louis Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Gilbert C. Traigle Jr., Violette Besson, Linda 
Besson, Raymond Traigle, Elaine Prejean and Wayne Traigle; a sister, Dorothy 
Boquet; five brothers, Hendrick Degruise, Fulton Degruise, Linsey Degruise, 
Hilton Degruise and Milfred Degruise; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 
and two great-great-granchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert C. Traigle Sr.; parents, 
Marie and Aurelien Degruise; children, Audrey Mae Traigle and an unborn son; 
brother; Paul Degruise Sr.; and two sisters, Thelma Thibodeaux and Mary Ann 
Bourg.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
