Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 27, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 28, from 9 a.m. until funeral time at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the church. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Burnella B. Trosclair and 11 children: Jeneal T. Carrere and husband Carroll; Vanessa T. Solet and husband Albert; Jennie Lee Trosclair, Adam E. Trosclair and wife Darlene; Vernet T. Dupuy and husband George; Mable Trosclair and companion Andy Akers; Elma T. Phillips and husband Michael, Sr.; Don J. Trosclair and wife Cindy; Josephine T. Verdin and companion Sidney Carrere; Joseph Billiot and wife Brenda, Doris Billiot and husband Paul, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Lucille Trosclair; his sisters, Irene Francis, Gladys Carlos, Jean Trosclair, Alinda Parfait, Edna Parfait, and Lena Trosclair; his brothers, John Verrett, Stanley Trosclair, Duffy Trosclair and Warden Trosclair; and four grandchildren. He was employed in the shipyard industry for over 30 years. He enjoyed playing the guitar, carpentry and hunting. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
