No services will be held as per her wishes. She was buried in Highland Cemetery in Oilton, Okla. Survivors include her husband, Hobert Whitehead of Houma; brothers, Doug Eikenbary and wife, Juanita, of Barnsdall, Okla., and Jim Eikenbary of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters, Lois Crnkovic of Houma, and Ruth McLaughlin of Barnsdall, Okla.; nephew, Carl Wayne Clark and wife, Susan, of Houma; sister- in-law, Aline Whitehead Batson, and husband, Burt, of Tulsa, Okla.; and other nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Glenn Eikenbary; three sisters, Modest "Maude" Parker, Willie Jean Simmons, Betty Lou Eikenbary; and four half-brothers, Frank "Bud", Woodrow, David Eikenbary and William Depriest; and two half-sisters, Ruby Russell and Vesta Rains. Pauline was born on Aug. 19, 1925 in Oilton, Oklahoma, to the late Frank Washington Eikenbary and Litha Pennington Eikenbary. She grew up and attended school in Oilton. Pauline married Hobert "Junior" Whitehead on July 1, 1946, and they moved to Louisiana in 1956. She worked in retail sales for many years, including as manager of the Montgomery Ward store in Houma. She will be remembered as a loving, giving person who did not hesitate to help out family members in need, especially her nephew Carl.
