Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Living Gospel Church in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Gibson. She is survived by two sons, Hayward Sims Sr. of Gibson, and Curtis (Marilyn) Williams of Houma; four daughters, Roberta (Joseph) Poindexter of Gibson, Glenda Austin of Houma, Wanda Williams of Allen, Texas, and Marie Kennedy of Cleveland, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry Sims and Clarence Williams; her parents, Willie and Rose Matthews Ruffin; sons, David Lee and Robert Sims; brothers, Willie Jr., Benjamin and Bust Ruffin; sisters, Loullia Ruffin, Martha Mitchell and Alice Watson; and grandparents, George and Francis Taylor Matthews. Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
