Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Word of Hope Family Worship Center. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the church. She is survived by three sons, Derrick (Mattie) Williams of Westlake; Tech Sgt. Michael (Erin) Williams of Spokane, Wash., and Patrick (Vanessa) Williams of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Shanaya (Turin) Wyrick of San Antonio, Texas; mother, Ruth J. Nixon of Lake Charles; four sisters, Viola (Douglas) Scott of San Diego, Calif., Willie Mae (Edward) Darby of Houma, Cynthia Jackson of Houston, Texas, and Lesia (Gregory) Phillips of Lake Charles; three brothers, Willard Nixon Jr. and John Patrick (Lisa) Nixon, all of Houston, Texas, and Lt. Col. James Nixon of San Antonio, Texas; two stepsons, Christopher Williams and Gavin Williams; one stepdaughter, Sheneque Williams; and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Deacon Willard Nixon Sr.; and a sister, Shirley Riley. ======================
