ALPHONSO, HENRY "TUFFY", JR.

Henry P. "Tuffy" Alphonso Jr., 47, was called home to his father, Thursday, 
Feb. 14, 2013.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until service time Friday at Leitz-Eagan Funeral 
Home in Metairie. A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral 
home.

He is survived by his parents, Henry Sr. and Kathleen Alphonso; siblings, Lori 
(Phillip) Alphonso Chauvin, Donald (Vanessa) Alphonso and Lloyd (Sara) 
Alphonso; and nieces and nephews, Kaitlin and Matthew Chauvin, Taylor, Alex and 
Gianni Alphonso and Gabby and Jacie Sosa.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd E. Alphonso Sr. and Helen 
Alphonso Hopkins, and Donald and Laura Stewart.

He was a longtime employee of T. Baker Smith in Houma.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the St. Jude 
Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or the Parkinson's Disease 
Foundation (www.pdf.org).

Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Metairie is in charge of arrangements.
