Ronald J. Authement Sr., 72, a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, died 
Friday, Feb. 8, 2013.

Funeral services will be private.

He is survived by his wife, Dora Lee Authement; sons, Ronald Frazier and Eddie, 
Percy, Louis and Noah Authement; daughters, Roxanne A. Hebert and Rose 
Authement; brother, James Authement Jr.; sister, Ilinie Authement; and 11 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Sylvia Authement.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
