Lawrence Joseph Bailey, 70, a native of Napoleonville and resident of Houma, 
died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. 
Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at the funeral 
home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, 

with burial in Rogers Cemetery in Houma.

He is survived by his ex-wife and friend, Marlene Bailey; sons, Chuck and Joey 
Bailey; brothers, Harry and Willie Bailey Jr.; sister, Susan LeBlanc; and two 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Mable Delaune Bailey Sr.; 
and one son, Larry Fergeson.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
