Ruby Hebert Barnes, 88, a native of Labadieville and longtime resident of 
Houma, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, in Port Orchard, Wash.

She will be buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma.

She is survived by her children, Tom Barnes and wife, Danise, Susan Hinton and 
husband, Ivy, and Perry Barnes; sisters, Carrie Charleville and Kate Brock; and 
numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, T. Howard Barnes; son, Peter; sister, 
Laura Mae Beyt; and her parents, Junius P. and Laura Prince Hebert.

Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
