Elise Boudreaux Benoit, 94, a native of Choctaw and resident of Thibodaux, 
passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Thibodaux Funeral 
Home in Thibodaux. Funeral services will be at noon Friday at the funeral home, 

with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her daughter, Aline Murray of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, 
Stacey and husband, Trent Tucker, of Prairieville, and Kellee and husband, Dr. 
Graham Tujague, of Baton Rouge; and great-grandchildren, Brennen and Blaine 
Tucker and Landon and Roman Tujague; and stepson, Roland Chiasson and wife, 
Margaret.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dozeville and Marie Boudreaux; 
brothers, Lawless, Dolien, Lionel and Junius Boudreaux; sisters, Inez Tabor, 
Odette Demarco, Doris Naquin, Rose Savoie, Bernice Ordoyne, Verna Mustachia and 
Dozilier Boudreaux; and stepsons, Francis and Olden Chiasson.

She was a very dear, compassionate and kind person. She loved her family 
unconditionally and had a very strong faith that carried her through the last 
days of her life.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to her special caregivers at 
Lafourche Home for the Aged in Thibodaux.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to a local 
cancer charity or any charity or fund.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
