Richard was a commercial fisherman, master boat builder for the past 60 years and a resident of Sabine Pass, Texas, for the last 30 years. He was a member of Sabine Pass Christian Fellowship and was on the church board. He lived his life for the love of God and family. If you crossed his path, you became his friend. His love of the sea made him the man he came to be and with his devotion to his land came fulfillment and peace. A master craftsman, he could fix anything. Any task you put before him, you best believe he would complete. A shrimper, cowboy, jack of all trades, man of many stories and many glories and a smile that could light your day. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a man who will be missed and remembered in our hearts forever! ======================
