Ofelia L. Bermudez, 81, a native of Brownsville, Texas, and resident of Cut 
Off, passed away Thursday, Feb 14, 2013.

Visitation was from 8 a.m. until funeral time today at Falgout Funeral Home in 
Galliano. A. Mass of Christian burial was at 11 a.m. today at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Cut Off, 

with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off.

She is survived by her children, Juan Bermudez Sr., Maria S. Bermudez, Rosa 
Linda Bermudez, Benjamin Bermudez Jr., and Maria Correa; brother, Ruben Limon; 
sister, Maria Limon; 30 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and four great-
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Flora B. Serigny; brothers Juan 
Reyes Limon and Maricano Limon; sisters, Olivia Limon and Otelia Caberllero; 
and one grandchild.

Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
