Paul G. Cancienne, 79, a native of Assumption Parish and resident of Thibodaux, 
died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. John the 
Evangelist Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Saturday 
at the church, 

with burial in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Joy Blanchard Cancienne; sisters, Alice Folse of 
Luling and Doris Aysenne of Napoleonville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Cancienne and Beatrice 
Lasseigne Cancienne; brother, Lloyd Cancienne; and sisters, Elsie and Marie 
Rodrigue.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
