Visitation was from 9 a.m. until funeral time today at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, with burial with full military honors provided by the East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad in Morgan City Cemetery. He is survived by his four daughters, Ellen Cook Bourg and husband, Hershell, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Janice Cook and companion, Tim Gallant, of Pensacola, Fla., Cynthia Cook Magallon and husband, Jesus, of Baton Rouge, and Kathleen Gregoire of Houma; two sons, Richard Cook of Houma, and Oville Adam Gregoire and wife, Evette, of Beach Grove, Tenn.; 17 grandchildren; 25 great- grandchildren; two brothers, Errol Cook of Patterson, and Paul Cook and wife, Karen, of Morgan City; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edelia Billiot Cook; parents, Allison Jr. and Isabelle Martin Cook; one granddaughter, Candas Cook Hebert; and two sisters, Rhea Cook Arcemont and Joyclyn Cook Callehan. During his "Dash" Allison served his country in the Vietnam era stateside in the U.S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed visitations from his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He loved playing bingo and listening to music and dancing. He will never be forgotten, and he will be truly missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
