Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Louis Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Louis Catholic Church cemetery. He is survived by his son, Wade Dupre and wife, Tanya, of Bayou Blue; daughters, Belinda Sonier and husband, Michael, of Bernice, Tanya Hutchinson and husband, Bruce, of Bourg, Myrna Babin and husband, Art, of Bayou Blue, Melanie Nowlin and husband, Terrell, of Bayou Blue, Katrina Naquin and husband, Bosco, of Katy, Texas, and Stephanie Pierce and husband, Rudy, of Lockport; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Ledet Dupre; parents, Caliste Dupre and Lillian Bouquet Dupre; great-grandchild, Angel Sonier; son, Kim Dupre; brothers, Miller Dupre, Tony Dupre, Hanson Dupre and Allen Dupre; and sisters, Lillian Songe and Enola Bollinger. He was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. He was the owner of Dupre's Cafe. He was a troller and trapper and worked for the parish for many years. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved his cat, Dawn. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
