EVERS, CHARLES 

Charles Oscar Evers, 77, a native of Emerson, Ark., and resident of Covington 
for the past 18 years, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013.

Funeral services were Saturday in Covington, 

with burial in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his children, Charles "Eddie" (Beverly) Evers of Luling, and 
Donna E. (Mitch) Eymard of Larose; stepchildren, Glen (Joy) Vinson and Mark 
Vinson of Covington; grandchildren, Chad Eymard, Carly Eymard, Sarah Evers, 
Seth Evers, Eric Evers, and Damien Vinson; siblings, Harold Evers, Ruth Kyle, 
Clifford Evers, Carlos Evers and Patsy Greene. He is also survived by his 
special friend, Yvonne Domingue Petitfils.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Maria Pioli Evers; the mother of 
his children, Maxine Evers; siblings, Ray Evers, Eunice Talley, Mattie Clair 
Kyle McMullin, Herbert Evers, Nettie Jewel Watson, Mary Evers, Margaret George, 
and Ella Faye McIlveene.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pilgrim's Rest Baptist 
Church Building Fund, 20116 Highway 1081, Covington, La. 70435.

E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in Covington is in charge of arrangements.
