Daniel "Danny" A. Fanguy Sr., 62, a native and resident of Houma, died 
Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013. He was born Nov. 26, 1950.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Celebration Church in Arabi.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Pichon Fanguy; sons, Daniel Fanguy Jr. and 
wife, Laycie, of Carencro; daughters, Brittany Roy and husband, Daniel III, of 
Chalmette, and Tiffany Fanguy of Chalmette; brothers, Harold, Jude and David 
Fanguy; sister, Lua Hebert and six grandchildren, Moses Fanguy, Molly Fanguy, 
Rosalia Fanguy, Olivia Roy, Daniel Roy and Malayna Holder.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold M. Fanguy and Loretta D. 
Fanguy; and sister, Grace Olivier.

Danny was a passionate man of God whose goal in life was being a servant of his 
lord, Jesus Christ.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
