Gwendolyn Gray, 51, a native and resident of Raceland, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 
2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at New Vision 
Christian Community Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Raceland.

She is survived by her parents, Wilbert Gray Sr. and Gloria Thomas Gray; 
companion, Lionel Batiste; son, Lionel Batiste Jr.; brothers, Wilbert Jr., 
Reginald, Michael, Rodney and Kelly Gray; and two sisters, Samantha Herrera and 
Shrynal Holmes.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Troy Gray; and grandparents, Pearl 
Lawson Thomas and Clarence Thomas.

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
