"Dickie" Guidry Jr., 75, a native and resident of Larose, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until funeral time today at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial was at noon today at the church, with burial in Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shearon C. Guidry; son, Michael G. Guidry and wife, Laura; daughters, Lisa G. Puckett and husband, Bob, and Karen G. Guidroz and husband, Dwain; grandchildren, Rusty Guidry and wife, Meaghan, Katie Guidry and fiance, Mark Rousse, and Hollyn and Evan Guidroz; great- grandchildren, Kenzie Rose and Layla and Max Rousse. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mae Rodrigue Guidry; sister, Marion "Mickie" Therese Guidry; brother, Irvin "Vin" A. Guidry; and one infant grandchild. He was a production operator for Chevron U.S.A. for 30 years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Larose. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and all sports. He was an especially loyal fan to his three most favorite teams, the South Lafourche Tarpons, the Saints and LSU. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a beautiful smile, a wonderful sense of humor, a great personality and would help anyone. "Pa" will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice, especially Christine, Eileen, Joycelyn, Ginger and Holly. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity or for Mass intentions. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
