Rita Kraemer Gauthreaux Heriard, 77, a native of Chackbay and long-time 
resident of Labadieville, passed away suddenly on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Philomena 
Catholic Church in Labadieville. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. 
Friday at the church, 

with burial in St. Philomena Catholic Church cemetery in Labadieville.

She is survived by her three daughters, Sheryl Price and fiancé, Joseph Adams 
Sr., Darlene Allemand and husband, Clyde, and Gail Daigle and fiancé, Shane 
Gautreaux; 11 grandchildren, Guy, Michael, and Robin Gautreaux, Sheree LaRose, 
Trudy St. Pierre, Jamie Gautreaux, Joseph Adams Jr., Dawn and Dusty Allemand, 
and Eric and Jason Daigle; one step-grandchild, Toby Adams; 17 great-
grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; brother Daniel Kraemer and wife, 
Elaine; sister, Charlene Duet and husband, Larry; sisters-in-law, Ruth and 
Clarabelle Kraemer, Ula Himel, and Eunice Ponvelle; and numerous nieces and 
nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gauthreaux; former husband, 
Larry Heriard Sr.; son, Jeffery Gautreaux; parents, Alton and Doris Rodrigue 
Kraemer; and three brothers, Hilton, Steven, and Fermin Kraemer.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
