Estoria Wise Jacobs, 93, a native and resident of Paincourtville, died 
Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Friday at Williams and Southall Funeral 
Home in Napoleonville. Visitation will also be from 8 a.m. until funeral time 
Saturday at Virginia Baptist Church in Ewellville. Funeral services will be at 
10 a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Virginia Baptist Church cemetery in Ewellville.

She is survived by her sons, James (Allison) Jacobs of New Orleans, and 
Lawrence Jacobs of Jackson; daughters, Clementine (Linel) Moland and Barbara 
Beasley of Paincourtville, and Nancy Carr of Channelview, Texas; brother, 
Johnny (Annie Mae) Wise of New Orleans; sisters, Ophelia Dabney of Kenner, 
Cecelia Patterson of New Orleans, and Gustavia Jones of Ewellville; 32 
grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham Jacobs; parents, Lillie and 
Matthew Wise Sr.; son, Lionel Jacobs; daughters, Audrey Dominique, Emma Jane 
Jelson, Irena Jacobs and Baby Girl Jacobs; one sister; and five brothers.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
