Gregory "Greg" Jones Sr., 49, a native and resident of Jeanerette, died at 9:35 
a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Jerusalem 
Baptist Church in Jeanerette. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at 
the church, 

with burial in Heavenly Rest Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca George Jones; four sons, Gregory Jones Jr., 
Kendall N. George and Troy Fitzgerald Jones, all of Jeanerette, and Tarrin 
Germaine George of Gray; two brothers, Clifford Schexnayder of Beaumont, Texas, 
and Michael Schexnayder of Jeanerette; three sisters, Jackie Hogan, Olavee 
Clavelle and Judy Lewis, all of Jeanerette; and six grandchildren.

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
