Edward Joseph, 79, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Friday, Feb. 22, 
2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Morning Star 
Baptist Church in Johnson Ridge. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday 
at the church, 

with burial in Blue Lily Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his wife, Clara J. Joseph; daughters, Marsha Joseph and 
Cherlene Goodwin; brothers, Cleveland (Rebecca) Joseph, Alton (Beatrice) 
Joseph, Herman (Vivian) Joseph and Harry Joseph; sisters, Amelia Sims, Margaret 
Hams, Willie Mae Joseph and Dorothy (Nolan) Washington; three grandchildren; 
and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Joseph Jr. and Ethel Rounds 
Joseph; brothers, Warner and Sidney Joseph; sister, Anna Joseph; grandchild, 
Jason Joseph; and great-grandchild, Hayzen Johnson.

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
