LABAT, KATHERINE (HEBERT) 
Obituary

Katherine Hebert Labat, 92, a native of Assumption Parish and resident of 
Raceland, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.

She is survived by her husband, Guy Labat; children, William P. Hebert Jr. and 
wife, Kathy, Arlene F. Hebert and companion, Ralph Buchanan, and Kay Zeringue; 
two stepdaughters, Ruth Babin and husband, Wayne, and Andrea Toups and husband, 
Andrew; four grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William P. Hebert Sr.; son, 
Leon B. Hebert; parents, Benjamin and Maggie Champagne Hebert; sister, Ethel 
Matherne; and brother, Earl Hebert.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
