Lou Verne Landry, a long time resident of Houma went to be with the Lord Our 
Savior Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Holy Rosary 
Catholic Church in Houma. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. at the church, 

with burial in Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery in Houma.

She is survived by her children, Edmund Carl Landry Jr. and wife, Kit, Martha 
Jeannette Cazaubon and husband, Gene, John Richard Landry and wife, Karen, and 
Michael Thomas Landry and wife, Heidi; 14 grandchildren; nine great 
grandchildren; one brother, Bill and wife, Willetta Price; and a sister-in-law, 
Mildred Price.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Carl Landry, DDS; her parents, 
Madonna Naomi and Thomas Radford Price; three brothers, Leonard, O.A. , and 
Richard Price; and three sisters, Faye Price Allen, Evelyn Barnhill, and Ivy Jo 
Price.

She loved oil painting, ceramics, sewing and genealogy. She was a published 
author as well. She worked for many years as a dental hygienist with her 
husband, Carl, and performed volunteer services at Our Lady of the Most Holy 
Rosary Catholic School.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to St Bernadette 
Catholic School, 309 Funderburk Avenue, Houma La. 70364 or to Holy Rosary 
Emergency Relief Fund, 8594 East Main Street, Houma La. 70363.

She was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
