Donald A. "Boobie" Lewis III, 35, a native and resident of Plattenville, died 
Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Shekinah Glory Christian 
Fellowship Church in St. James. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until 
funeral time Saturday at the church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Shekinah Glory Christian Fellowship Church cemetery in St. 
James.

He is survived by his parents, Donald A. Lewis Jr. of Austin, Texas, and 
Gretchen Heims of Dorseyville; sisters, Deshawn and Keshawn Lewis of Austin, 
Texas; maternal grandmother, Florence Heims of Dorseyville; paternal 
grandparents, Donald A. Lewis Sr. of New Orleans and Sylvia Lewis of Los 
Angeles, Calif.; and paternal great-grandfather, Sidney Charles of Raceland.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harold Heims; and 
maternal great-grandparents, Gus Sr. and Myrtle Holloway.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
