Evelia T. Martin, 102, a native of Leeville and resident of Golden Meadow, die 
at 4:10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 
11 a.m. Monday at the church, 

with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in Golden 
Meadow.

She is survived by her son, Hector Martin Jr.; four grandchildren, Kathy Bruce, 
Brenda Guidry, Regina Lasseigne and Rebecca Martin; 13 great-grandchildren; and 
five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Hector Martin Sr.; 
parents, Oscar and Notilia Doucet Terrebonne; son, Rodney J. Martin; brothers, 
Justilien, Samjest and Forest Terrebonne; and sisters, Alice Renois, Oscarlee 
Dantin, Ledonia Terrebonne and Agnes Champagne.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
