Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1302.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Clinton Morgan, 82, a native of Pecan Island and resident of Houma, died at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home. Visitation will also be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife, Antoinette Freeman Morgan of Houma; sons, Clinton G. Morgan and wife, Rosie, of Raceland, and John M. Morgan and wife, Jackie, of River Ridge; daughter, Kristi M. Davis and husband, Steve, of Orlando, Fla.; grandchildren, Melanie Morgan Boudreaux, Michael Morgan, Morgan Davis, Victoria Morgan and Lauren Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Agee and Doris Vincent Morgan; and brothers, Melvin and Alvin Morgan. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was the owner of Morgan Seismic Supply and Morgan Marine in Houma and spent all of his career in the oilfield industry. He loved spending his time fishing, hunting and mowing his yard, but most of all he loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
