Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Gibson. Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at the church, with burial in Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church cemetery in Gibson. She is survived by five sons, Joseph (Leona) Norman Sr., Leroy (Diana) Norman Sr., Charles "C.P." (Rose) Norman, Bernard "Butch" (Ethel) Norman, and Benjamin (Darlene) Norman; three daughters, Constance "Connie" Bailey, Patricia (Harry) Granger, and Brenda (Herbert Jr.) Scott; four sisters, Myrtle Seymore and Louise Bolden of Gibson, Helen Aldridge of Perris, Calif., and Ruby Kelly of Compton, Calif.; one brother, James Matthews Sr.; 35 grandchildren; 53 great- grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Norman Sr.; parents, Gertie Aitkens Matthews and Willie Matthews Sr.; son, Albert Norman Jr.; sister, Ora Lee "Tee" Smith; and brothers, Percy Matthews Sr. and Willie Matthews Jr. She was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
