Louby J. Pitre, 82, a native and a resident of Houma, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 
2013.

No services are scheduled at this time.

He is survived by his son, Dennis P. Pitre and wife, Sherrel; two daughters, 
Patricia P. Hebert and husband, Charles T. Hebert, and Lisa P. Cano; four 
grandchildren, Carlos Cano and wife, Crystal, Corey Pitre, Brandon Pitre and 
Jhansi Castille; one great-grandson, Brayan P. Pitre; and extended family, 
Donna Rainey.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Brunet Pitre; parents, Clarence 
and Julie Dumont Pitre; son, Clarence Pitre; granddaughter, Melissa Cano; and 
sister, Rita Hebert.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
