Harold Ramson Sr., 86, a native of Napoleonville, former resident of New 
Orleans and resident of Plattenville, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Wesley United 
Methodist Church in Napoleonville. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday 
at the church, 

with burial with military honors in Wesley United Methodist Church cemetery in 
Napoleonville.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy Shanklin Ramson of Plattenville; one daughter, 
Melanie R. Wearing of Plattenville; three sons, Bryan Ramson Sr. and Harold 
Ramson Jr. of New Orleans, and Robert (Susie) Ramson Sr. of Houma; three 
sisters, Roberta Mae R. Southall and Ruby Ramson of Napoleonville, and Ruth 
Ramson-Wilson of Oakland, Calif.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lillian Ramson; and two 
brothers, Hue and Beverly Ramson.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
