Norman Thomas Rome, 66, a native and resident of Des Allemands, died Friday, 
Feb. 22, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Gertrude 
Catholic Church in Des Allemands. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. 
Tuesday at the church, 

with burial in St. Gertrude Catholic Church cemetery in Des Allemands.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Thibodeaux Rome; son, Randall Joseph (Cary) 
Rome; siblings, Clifford Rome, Nancy Dowouis and Mavis Jones; and two 
granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chefter and Myrtle Fonseca Rome; and 
siblings, Herbert Rome and Beatrice Reulet.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
