Royal Stewart Sr., 67, a native of Donner and resident of Geismar passed away 
Monday, Feb. 25, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at First Pilgrim Calvary Baptist 
Church in Geismar. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Triumph 
Baptist Church in Gibson.

He is survived by two daughters, Genice W. Gaines and Rosalyn Williams; two 
sons, Anthony Williams and Royal Stewart Jr.; and four sisters, Joyce Clark of 
Ama, Mildred Murphey and Irma McGuire of Gibson, and Lillie Williams of Houma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldred and Enola Stewart; 
grandparents, Samuel and Elizabeth Patterson and Jim and Lydia Stewart; seven 
brothers, Eldred Jr., Lionel, Gerald Sr., John, Wardell, Walter and Alfred 
Stewart; and two sisters, Clementine Stewart and Carolyn Stewart.

Purple Shield Funeral Home in Gonzales is in charge of arrangements.
