Allen "Big Al" J. Theriot Jr., 70, a native and resident of Bayou Dularge, died 
Friday, Feb. 15, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Eloi Catholic 
Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, 

with burial to be held at a later date.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diane Bascle Theriot; children, Edward 
Theriot and wife, Tania, and children, Kassie, Lee and Derrick; Patty Theriot 
O'Connell and husband, Mike, and children, Ben and Grant; Pamela T. Voisin and 
husband, Brad, and children, Angel, Josh, Natalie and Brandy; and Todd Theriot 
and wife, Joan, and children, Logan and Erin; and sisters, Mary Lynn Bisland, 
Marna Marmande, Anita Armstrong and Bonnie Maraist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Joseph Theriot Sr. and Malvina 
Duet Theriot.

He enjoyed drinking coffee with his family and friends. He will be missed by 
all.
His favorite saying was, "I could weld anything from a broken heart to the 
crack of dawn."

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
