Clinton Joseph Theriot, 74, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Chauvin, 
died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the 
church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Stoufflet Theriot of Chauvin; sons, Burt 
Theriot and wife, Gwen, of Galliano, and Dewey Theriot and wife, Shonna, of 
Houma; daughter, Christina Theriot Gavin and husband, Thomas, of Phoenix, 
Ariz.; grandchildren, Veronica Vail, Ty Theriot, Alesha Theriot, Presley 
Theriot and Jayden Trosclair; great-grandchildren, Wesley, Erin and Sophia 
Vail; and brother, Livingston Theriot.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leopold and Emmeline Theriot; and 
sister, Florence Theriot Long.

He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a veteran of the U.S. 
Army. 
He worked for Texaco for 25 years. He enjoyed making castnets, minnow cages and 
items out of matchsticks. He also enjoyed going to the casino.
