Ernest "Skippy" Tyler III, 57, a native and resident of Labadieville, died 
Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m.Friday at Williams and Southall Funeral Home 
in Thibodaux. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday 
at St. Phillip Baptist Church in Labadieville. Funeral services will be at 11 
a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Phillip Baptist Church cemetery in Labadieville.

He is survived by his sons, Ernest (Wendy) Coleman of Houma, and Glenn 
(Angelice) Smith of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Patricia (Carral) Murphy, Sheila 
(Joseph) Williams and Yvonne Washington, all of Labadieville, Bernadine (Oscar) 
Barnes and Bernadette (Richard) Toss of Donaldsonville, and Jacqueline (Carl) 
Middleton of Morgan City; brothers, Warren (Barbara) Tyler and Emmett 
(Kenkrell) Tyler of Labadieville, and Marcus (Renata) Tyler of Thibodaux; and 
five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Tyler; and parents, Selietha and 
Ernest Tyler Jr.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
