VICE, EDITH (MYERS) 

Edith Myers Vice, 94, a native of Estherwood and resident of Houma, died at 1 
p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2013.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery in 
Crowley.

She is survived by her son, James Steven Vice of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; 
daughters, Deanne Lampton of Houma and Suzanne Lichtenhan and husband, Jerry of 
Wamego, Kan.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and brother, Jake 
Myers and wife, Larlene, of Estherwood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayes Joseph Vice Sr.; son, Hayes 
Joseph Vice Jr.; parents, Tozime and Nora LeJeune Myers; one brother; and three 
sisters.

She loved to read, sew and enjoyed being with her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to Hospice of 
South Louisiana, 6500 Main Street, Houma, La. 70360.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
