Ester Robinson Weaver, 81, a native of Raceland and resident of Thibodaux, died 
at 1:34 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Third Zion Baptist 
Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church,

 with burial in Brooklyn Lane Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Donald Robinson of Raceland, Zennelle Robinson of 
New Jersey, and Percy Weaver Jr. of North Carolina; daughters, Joel Bourgeois 
of California, Annie Weaver Davis of Thibodaux, and Lashonda Broom of 
Thibodaux; brothers, Herbert Robinson Sr. of Raceland, and Naamon Robinson Sr. 
of Houma; sisters, Ella Bea Thomas of Thibodaux, and Verlean Ambrosa of New 
Orleans; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Weaver Sr.; parents, Annie W. 
and Shelvin Robinson Sr.; brothers, Granvil, Ernest, Shelby Jr., Harry, 
Mitchell, Willie, Ivory, Arthur, and Alvin Robinson; and sisters, Lucille 
Joseph and Olevia Cleveland.

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
