Gretchen Chamberlain Benoit, 50, a native of Raceland, and resident of 
Donaldsonville, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at United 
Pentecostal Church in Plattenville. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday 
at the church, 

with burial in St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church Cemetery in Raceland.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Benoit of Donaldsonville; children, 
Jeremy Parks of Raceland, and Victoria Benoit of Donaldsonville; mother, Betty 
Chamberlain; brother, Chris Chamberlain; and sister, Michelle Matherne.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Chamberlain; and her 
grandparents.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
