Lynol Bourgeois, 71, a native of Verdunville and resident of Patterson, died 
Tuesday, March 26, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church in Patterson. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at 
the church, 

with burial in Beau Pre Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Mitchell Bourgeois; sons, Derek Davis, 
Darryl Bourgeois, Derrick Mitchell and Joshua McDaniel III; brothers, Denis 
(Mary) Bourgeois and Freddie Bourgeois; sisters, Lelia (Julius) McClendon and 
Almena (Earl) Kirt; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Bourgeois Sr. and Mary Etiennie; 
four sisters; and two brothers.

Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
