Gilday Cavalier, 79, a native of Pierre Part and resident of Thibodaux, died at 
1:40 a.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013.

Visitation was from 9 a.m. until funeral time today at Landry's Funeral Home in 
Thibodaux. Funeral services were at noon today at the funeral home, 

with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Duplantis Cavalier; daughter, Sheila Cavalier 
Lambert and husband, Woody Lambert Sr.; stepchildren, Alcee Billiot, Stephanie 
Billiot and Brandy Keen; brothers, Edward and Ervin Cavalier; sisters, Laura 
Cavalier, Dora Landry, Dorothy Morgan and Maudry Cavalier; and grandchildren, 
Glynn and Woody Lambert Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Felicien Cavalier and Marie Mayon 
Cavalier; brothers, Charles, Edmond and J.B. Cavalier; and sister, Theresa 
Cavalier.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
