Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Willie Chauvin and wife, Patricia, of Houma, and Warren Chauvin and wife, Shirley, of Houma; daughter, Linda Chauvin Jones and husband, James, of Gray; sisters, Theresa Bergeron, Beulah Vedros, and Wanda Brunet; brother, Alton Bergeron Jr.; grandchildren, Belinda Boudreaux, Bobby Chauvin, Lawrence Chauvin, Stephanie Chauvin and Chasity Chauvin; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emile Albert Chauvin Sr.; son, Emile Chauvin Jr.; parents, Alton Bergeron and Velma Chauvin Bergeron; sister, Elsie Bergeron; grandchildren, James Breaux and Wilbert Chauvin; and one great- grandchild. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a past member of the Lady's Auxiliary American Legion Post No. 31 and Eight and Forty American Legion.
