Joanne was born November 26, 1938 in Brawley, California. She was a retired Pacific Bell Telephone Company employee, where she started out as an operator and ended her career as an engineer. She was a talented artist, loved to crochet, read, do crafts, work in her garden and go to the casino from time to time. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Clarence O. Edgmon of Bullhead City, Ariz.; her daughter, Michele Benoit Gros and son-in-law, Francis "Tee" Gros; two grandsons, Dustin and Dillon Gros; two great-grandsons Donovan and Xander Gros, all from Thibodaux; her sister, Hilda Anderson of Mohave Valley, Ariz.; and her brother, James Ray of New Orleans. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" Ray and Ilah Birdie Albritton Ray of Holtville, Calif. ======================
